Vivo T5x 5G launch date: Vivo is soon going to expand its T-series lineup in India. The company is set to drop its latest T5x on March 17 at 12 PM. This new smartphone will succeed the previously launched T4x, and running it would be MediaTek silicon. The colour options for the handset have been revealed, which are Star Silver and Cyber Green. The smartphone will be available for purchase via e-commerce platform Flipkart, with a microsite dedicated to the device already live, as well as offline retail stores. Let's take a look at what to expect from the device this time.
Vivo T5x Expected Features
The device is being teased as "the segment's fastest smartphone”, and rumours suggest a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC. Vivo has started teasing several features of its upcoming T5x 5G ahead of the official launch. One of the biggest highlights is the battery. The company says the phone will pack a 7,200mAh unit, which it claims will be the largest battery available in its segment. Vivo suggests this should allow users to stream, play games and browse for long hours without worrying too much about charging. Some reports also indicate that the device could support 44W fast charging.
The company is also focusing on durability. According to Vivo, the T5x 5G will come with IP68 and IP69 ratings, which means the phone is designed to offer strong protection against dust and water. Vivo has even compared the device’s battery capacity and durability with other phones in the sub-Rs 23,000 category, hinting that this could be the price segment it is targeting.
In one of its teasers, Vivo also claims that the upcoming device will be the “fastest phone under Rs 23,000 as of March 5, 2026".
Under the hood, the Vivo T5x 5G will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo processor. The company previously revealed that the device managed to score over 1 million points on the AnTuTu benchmark. On the software side, the phone is expected to run OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.
The company will reveal the complete specifications and official pricing during the launch event scheduled for March 17.
