One of the easiest ways to check your PF balance is by giving a missed call. Simply dial 9966044425 from your registered mobile number. The call will ring for a couple of seconds and disconnect automatically.
Soon after, you will receive an SMS on the same number with details of your PF balance. There’s no need to cut the call yourself. It disconnects on its own.
How To Check PF Balance Through SMS
You can also get your PF balance details through SMS. Open the messaging app on your phone and type EPFOHO followed by a space and then your UAN number.
Send this message to 7738299899. Within a short time, you’ll receive an SMS containing your PF account details. Make sure there is a space between EPFOHO and your UAN number, or the request won’t go through.
Important Things To Remember
To use the missed call or SMS facility, your UAN must be active. At least one KYC document, such as Aadhaar, PAN, or your bank account, should be linked to your PF account.
