Hyderabad Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has stated that the minimum temperature in Hyderabad and other nearby cities is likely to drop in the upcoming days. The residents are likely to witness cold waves and fog, especially in the early hours, leading to inconveniences for the commuters. The weather department stated that the minimum temperature in most of Telangana has remained around 10 degrees Celsius in the past few days. However, the temperature is further likely to drop by two to three degrees Celsius in some of the districts. The IMD has advised the residents to limit their outings in the early hours to avoid inconveniences.
The weather department stated that the residents of the tech city are likely to witness chilly mornings at least till December 18. The minimum temperature is expected to be calculated between 10 and 12 degrees Celsius for the next three days. The IMD has stated that several regions are likely to receive a cold wave, adding that the night temperature might go below 10 degrees Celsius after December 20.

Earlier on Sunday, the weather department stated that several districts, including Adilabad, Komuram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Sangareddy, and Medak, are likely to witness a cold wave in the upcoming days. These regions are also likely to witness dense fog in the morning hours, leading to inconveniences. As per the Telangana Development Planning Society (TDPS), the temperature of several districts has fallen in the past two days.
While the minimum temperature of Rajendranagar was recorded at 11.2 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature of Malkajgiri remained at 11.2 degrees Celsius. The authority stated that the minimum temperature in multiple regions, including Rajendranagar, Serilingampally, Alwal, Secunderabad, and Kukatpally, is likely to be calculated below 15 degrees Celsius at least till December 17.
