A road accident occurred on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway late Tuesday night at around 2:00 am. A car traveling from Agra to Lucknow was hit from behind by another vehicle near Milestone 43.6, within the limits of the Matsena police station.

The Victims

Four individuals were injured in the collision. From one car, the driver Vinod Kumar and a passenger, Satish Kumar—both residents of Raspur police station area in Kanpur district—were injured. From the second car, the driver Bahadur Singh and a passenger, Ravi—both residents of Kheragarh, Agra—sustained injuries.

Police Action And Treatment

Upon receiving information about the accident, the police arrived at the scene and rushed all the injured to the District Joint Hospital in Shikohabad for treatment.

Station House Officer (SHO) Vimlesh Tripathi confirmed that four people were injured in the crash. He stated that after admitting the victims to the hospital, the damaged vehicles were removed from the expressway to clear the traffic.
