Namaz Attempt At Ram Temple: A Kashmiri man attempted to offer prayers (Namaz) at the Ram Temple complex in Ayodhya on Saturday afternoon, prompting the security personnel to arrest him.

The accused was detained in the southern perimeter area of the temple complex for attempting to offer namaz. He also raised slogans after being stopped from praying. Intelligence agencies and police teams are currently interrogating him.

No Official Statement On Namaz Attempt

The district administration has not yet issued any official statement. The Ram Temple Trust has also remained silent on the entire incident. He was taken into custody and brought to the Ram Janmabhoomi police outpost, where security agencies, under the leadership of SP Security Balramachari Dubey, are interrogating him.

No police or administrative official has yet confirmed the incident. It is reported that a middle-aged Muslim man, after visiting the temple, attempted to offer namaz while leaving the southern perimeter of the Ram Temple. As soon as security personnel saw him doing this, they apprehended him and took him into custody.

The incident was reported to senior officials, and he was taken to the Ram Janmabhoomi police outpost located within the complex, where security agency officials are questioning him. It is reported that the Kashmiri man attempted to offer prayers near Sita Rasoi in the Ram Temple complex. The accused entered the Ram Temple complex through Gate D1.

Who Is The Accused?

Unconfirmed reports suggest that Sheikh is from the Shopian area of Jammu and Kashmir. He was identified as AB Ahad Sheikh (56), son of Ismail Sheikh, from Vodapora village, Shopian.
