Following a car bomb explosion in Delhi, police and intelligence agencies have been put on high alert. Emergency measures and intensified security checks have been implemented across Hapur, which is designated as a sensitive district within the NCR.

Intensified Security Measures

Police have initiated comprehensive checks at numerous key locations, including:

- Markets and densely populated areas

- The railway station and bus stand

- Hospitals and temples

- Toll plazas

- Government buildings

- Hotels

Vehicle checks have been intensified, and additional police forces have been deployed to monitor suspicious activities. A central control room has also been established to monitor CCTV footage from across the city.

In hotels, checks have been initiated, and instructions have been issued that no one will be allowed to stay without an Aadhaar card.

Official Statements And Directives

SP Kunwar Gyanendra Singh The Superintendent of Police stated that following the Delhi blast, an alert was issued in Hapur with a main focus on crowded areas. He confirmed that checks are underway at temples, major markets, toll plazas, and the bus stand. At the railway station, suspects and their luggage are being actively checked.

District Magistrate Abhishek Pandey District Magistrate Abhishek Pandey issued several directives and appeals to the public:

Public Vigilance: He appealed to the public to "fulfil their duty as aware citizens." Residents are urged to report any unattended or suspicious objects, vehicles, persons, or activities to the police immediately.

Avoid Rumours: The public was warned not to pay attention to rumours, not to circulate or forward unnecessary messages on the internet, and not to take the law into their own hands.

Public Movement: People have been advised to stay indoors unless absolutely necessary and not to gather unnecessarily in markets or public places.

Emergency Services: Hospitals and the fire department have been put on alert. The electricity corporation has been instructed to ensure an uninterrupted power supply.

The District Magistrate provided reassurance, stating: "There is no need to panic. Remain vigilant and follow the orders and instructions issued by the police and administration."

Incident: Unattended Vehicles At Railway Station

During the security operations, police found seven cars parked unattended at the railway station for several days.

Based on vehicle registration numbers, the owners of three cars were traced and questioned. They had reportedly parked their cars on the railway premises three to four days prior. This incident is being considered negligence on the part of the RPF.

The owners of the other four cars have not yet been traced. The registration numbers for these vehicles were found to be inactive. These vehicles have been placed under surveillance.
