Festive Special: Railways Announces Daily Pune-Gorakhpur Train From September 27; Halts At Lucknow, Kanpur, Bhopal

For passengers travelling from Purvanchal to Pune, the Railways have announced the 01415/01416 Pune-Gorakhpur-Pune special train. This service will operate daily from Gorakhpur to Pune between September 27 and November 30.

In a major relief for passengers from Purvanchal travelling to Pune, the Railways has announced a Puja Special train service between Pune and Gorakhpur in view of rising festive demand. Train number 01415/01416 will operate daily from September 27 to December 1.

According to Pankaj Kumar Singh, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Eastern Railway, train number 01415 Pune-Gorakhpur Puja Special will depart from Pune at 6:50 am daily between September 27 and November 30, reaching Gorakhpur at 4:00 pm the next day.

En route, it will halt at Ahmednagar, Manmad, Bhusawal, Bhopal, Kanpur Central, and Lucknow.

In the return direction, train number 01416 GorakhpurPune Puja Special will leave Gorakhpur at 5:30 pm daily from September 28 to December 1. It will pass through Basti, Lucknow, Kanpur Central, Virangana Lakshmibai Junction (Jhansi), Bhopal, and Bhusawal before arriving in Pune at 3:15 am on the third day.

The train will consist of six sleeper coaches, six general second-class coaches, and four third AC coaches to accommodate the festive rush.
