The police have registered a case against four individuals, including a father and his three sons, for allegedly barging into a house and molesting a woman and her young daughter. The accused reportedly assaulted the victims, tore their clothes, and issued death threats. The First Information Report (FIR) was registered only after the intervention of the Superintendent of Police, following the local police's initial refusal to act.

The Incident

According to the complaint filed by the victim, the incident occurred on December 10. She and her daughter were at home when her neighbor, Arun Yadav, along with his three sons—Abhishek Yadav, Mayank Yadav, and Shivam Yadav—allegedly forced their way inside.

The complainant stated that the accused assaulted and molested both her and her daughter, tearing their clothes in the process. When the victims raised an alarm, family members and local residents rushed to the scene. Seeing the gathering crowd, the accused fled the spot, threatening to kill the family if they approached the police.

History Of Harassment

The victim revealed that the harassment had been ongoing for some time. She alleged that the accused had frequently made lewd remarks directed at her and her daughter. When the family previously objected to this behavior, the accused had threatened them with dire consequences.

Police Action

Following SP’s Order Immediately after the attack, the victim approached the Kotwali police station to file a complaint, but the police initially did not register a case. Aggrieved by the inaction, the victim submitted a written complaint to Superintendent of Police Kunwar Gyananjay Singh.
