A massive fire broke out in a cardboard factory and warehouse located in Bhagwantpur village on Wednesday morning. The fire was so intense that it took nearly five hours to bring it under control, and goods worth lakhs of rupees were reduced to ashes. Panic spread in the area as smoke and flames were seen billowing from inside the factory. The factory owner, Tarun Sharma, immediately informed the fire station.
Fire Extinguished After Five Hours
Firefighters arrived at the scene with fire tenders, but they had to face a significant struggle due to a shortage of water. To reach the source of the fire, the fire brigade personnel had to break down the factory walls. After nearly five hours of hard work, the fire was finally brought under control.
Investigation Underway
During the incident, the entire factory premises filled with smoke, and the cardboard stock along with other goods worth lakhs kept inside were completely destroyed. The cause of the fire is not yet clear. Police and fire brigade officials are currently investigating the matter.

Medical Store Gutted By Fire In Hathras
In a separate incident in Hathras, a fire broke out at a medical store located at Gandhi Chowk in Sasni town. The cause of the fire has not yet been ascertained. The shop belongs to Rakesh Kumar Garg. The owner had closed the shop and gone home for the night. Late at night, local residents noticed a plume of smoke rising from the shop and alerted him. Upon receiving the information, the shop owner immediately informed the fire brigade.
Lakhs In Losses
The fire brigade team reached the spot and attempted to extinguish the fire, but by then, medicines and other goods worth lakhs of rupees kept in the shop had already been reduced to ashes. After controlling the fire, the fire brigade team initiated an investigation, but the cause of the fire remains unknown.
