To help passengers during the upcoming festival season, a "Puja Special" train will be run between Gomti Nagar (in Lucknow) and Mahbubnagar, traveling via Gorakhpur. This weekly special train, with number 05314 and 05313, will make a total of six trips during the Dussehra, Diwali and Chhath festivals.

The Chief Public Relations Officer, Pankaj Kumar Singh, announced that this train will have 7 sleeper coaches, 4 general second-class coaches, 1 AC 2-Tier coach and 8 AC 3-Tier Economy coaches.

Train No. 05314 (from Gomti Nagar to Mahbubnagar): This weekly special will depart from Gomti Nagar every Sunday at 12:15 am (late Saturday night) from September 28 to November 2. It will leave from Gorakhpur at 6:25 am. The train will pass through stations like DeoriaSadar, Bhatni, Mau, Varanasi and Prayagraj Chheoki, reaching Mahbubnagar the next day at 7:10 pm.

Train No. 05313 (from Mahbubnagar to Gomti Nagar): This weekly special will depart from Mahbubnagar every Monday at 10:10 pm from September 29 to November 3. It will travel through stations like Kazipet, Ramagundam, Jabalpur, Satna, Prayagraj Chheoki and Varanasi, arriving at Gorakhpur on the third day at 8:50 am and reaching Gomti Nagar at 3:00 pm.

Extra Coaches to be Added in Four Trains, Including Intercity

To manage the extra rush of passengers during the festivals, four trains on local routes, including the Gorakhpur-Varanasi Intercity and Gorakhpur to Bahraich Express, will get additional coaches. According to the North Eastern Railway's CPRO, Pankaj Kumar Singh:

- One extra sleeper coach will be added to the 15131 Varanasi City-Gorakhpur Express from September 28 to November 30.

- One extra sleeper coach will be added to the 15132 Gorakhpur-Varanasi City Express from September 29 to December 1.

- One extra sleeper coach will be added to each trip of the 05131 And 05132 Gorakhpur-Bahraich-Gorakhpur Special Express train between September 29 and December 1.
