Due to the Territorial Army (Pradeshik Sena) recruitment drive in the cantonment area on Roorkee Road, the traffic police have implemented a one-way system from Sofipur to Gandhibagh, effective from Saturday night until December 15.

As soon as this measure was enforced, a traffic jam occurred on Roorkee Road. Due to the congestion, a journey that would normally take 10 minutes is now taking people half an hour.
