The Awas Vikas Parishad (Housing Development Council) in Meerut has extended the application deadline for 1,462 ready-to-move-in flats in its JagritiVihar Extension scheme to September 30. The original deadline was September 15. Officials noted that this provides a great opportunity for buyers during the upcoming festive season.
Property Officer Sunil Kumar Sharma confirmed the extension and highlighted several incentives, including a 5 per cent discount for buyers who make the full payment within 60 days. Applicants also have the facility to choose their preferred floor. A special provision allows government employees to take possession of their flat after paying just 50 per cent of the cost.
While all ground-plus-three flats in the F-127 category have been sold, applications are open for the following:
- F-32 Category: 777 flats available (Price: Rs 8,25,000 to Rs 12,66,000)
- F-57 Category: 337 flats available (Price: Rs 19,07,000 to Rs 21,31,000)
- F-64 Category: 319 flats available (Price: Rs 22,21,000 to Rs 24,74,000)
- F-100 Category: 29 flats available (Price: Rs 40,97,000)
