A heavy turnout is expected at the Ambedkar Jayanti programme scheduled for Saturday at the Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal in Sector 95, with participants arriving from Western Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Uttarakhand and nearby districts. In anticipation, Noida Police have issued a detailed traffic diversion plan.

DCP Traffic Praveen Kumar Ranjan said movement of heavy vehicles will be restricted from 6 am onwards, and diversions will be enforced as required.

Key Traffic Diversions

-Goods vehicles travelling towards Delhi will be diverted from the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and Yamuna Expressway via Zero Point, Pari Chowk, Kasna town and Sirsa towards the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.

-Traffic from Kalindi Kunj (Delhi) to Sector 18 and Mayur Vihar will be routed through Sector 37, Attapir Chowk, Rajnigandha Chowk and Sector 15 roundabout.

-Greater Noida to Noida traffic on the expressway will be diverted from Mahamaya Flyover towards Sector 37, leading onwards to Delhi and Ghaziabad.

-Another diversion from the Bird Feeding T-junction will send vehicles towards Sector 18 via the Film City Flyover, Rajnigandha Chowk and Sector 15 roundabout.

-Noida to Greater Noida traffic will be diverted from Sector 14A Flyover towards Sector 15 roundabout and then directed via Rajnigandha Chowk, Attapir Chowk and Sector 37.

-Vehicles from Pari Chowk to Delhi will be diverted from the Sector 128 cut, taking the service road to Hajipur underpass and then moving towards Sector 62 Model Town.

-Traffic from the Sector 60 elevated road towards DND will be diverted before the Sector 18 underpass via the Sector 28 car market, Botanical Garden U-turn, Atta Chowk and Rajnigandha Chowk.

ADCP Traffic Manisha Singh said emergency vehicles, medical, fire and others, will be given priority movement during the diversion period. Commuters facing any difficulty may contact the traffic helpline at 9971009001.
