The first round of online counselling for admissions to undergraduate AYUSH courses, BAMS, BUMS, and BHMS, has begun in Uttar Pradesh for the 2025-26 academic session. The process covers government and private Ayurvedic, Unani, and Homoeopathic medical colleges, as well as private universities and minority institutions, offering a total of 8,485 seats.
As per official information, government Ayurvedic colleges have 502 BAMS seats, while private colleges offer 6,208 seats. In Homoeopathy, there are 755 BHMS seats in government institutions and 330 seats in private colleges. For Unani, government colleges have 128 BUMS seats, while private colleges account for 5,652 seats.

Under the first round of UP AYUSH UG Counselling-2025, the merit list of registered candidates will be published at 4 PM on September 19. Candidates can fill in their college preferences online until September 24. The first seat allotment list will be declared at 5 PM on September 25.
Verification of original documents at designated nodal centres will take place from September 26 to October 7. Allotted candidates will be able to download their seat allotment letters and complete admissions between September 26 and October 9 (till 5 PM).
