Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that on the occasion of Uttar Pradesh Day this time, dishes from various districts will be the main centre of attraction at the ceremony to be held on 24 January. He said that on the lines of the One District One Product scheme, culinary items identified under a One District One Dish scheme will be presented at the ceremony venue.
Amit Shah To Be Chief Guest; Venue Details
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be the chief guest at this ceremony. The presence of the Union Home Minister will give this event a distinct identity at the national level. Therefore, all arrangements should be ensured with dignity and discipline. This time, the UP Day ceremony will be held at the Rashtra Prerna Sthal, built under the Basant Kunj scheme on the banks of the Gomti river. The Chief Minister reviewed the preparations for the UP Day ceremony at his official residence on Wednesday.
UP Day To Be Celebrated As A Grand 'Janotsav'
He said that with the active participation of every district, cultural diversity, and a shared consciousness of development, Uttar Pradesh Day will be celebrated as a grand public festival (janotsav) this time. In this event, to be held from 24 to 26 January, Uttar Pradesh's culture, craft, cuisine, and development journey will be presented on a single platform through public participation. He said that this event is not just a formal programme, but an opportunity to showcase the state's identity, achievements, and potential with public cooperation.
Exhibitions On 'Viksit Bharat-Viksit Uttar Pradesh' Theme
The Chief Minister said that to celebrate the UP Day festival simultaneously across the entire state, the main ceremony will be broadcast live from the Rashtra Prerna Sthal to all districts. Officials stated that a special exhibition and a craft fair based on the theme of 'Viksit Bharat-Viksit Uttar Pradesh' (Developed India-Developed Uttar Pradesh) will be organised at the ceremony. The special exhibition will showcase the state's achievements in its development journey, innovation, infrastructure, industry, agriculture, women's empowerment, and self-reliance.

Focus On Cultural Heritage And Dignitaries
The Chief Minister directed that cultural programmes under the Culture Festival should be effectively linked with Uttar Pradesh Day. He said that in line with the spirit of 'Our Culture-Our Identity', a platform should be provided for folk, classical and contemporary art. He also directed that dignitaries from all districts who have made outstanding contributions in various fields should be invited to the ceremony.
