A high-powered committee, chaired by the Chief Secretary, will be formed to review the 'Viksit UP 2047' vision document. This committee will thoroughly analyse suggestions submitted by citizens for the document's preparation.

Collaboration With NITI Aayog

During a review meeting at Yojana Bhawan on Tuesday, NITI Aayog's CEO, BVR Subrahmanyam, recommended forming a joint team to improve efficiency. This team will include regional and sector experts, representatives from NITI Aayog, and members of the State Planning Department.

The CEO also suggested organising a meeting between the Chief Minister and representatives from all state universities. This would simplify the document's preparation and help communicate the vision effectively to students. He stressed the need to set a clear timeline for finalising the document's framework.

Public Consultation And Strategy

Following directives from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state has identified 500 key topics for the vision document. The Principal Secretary of the State Planning Commission explained that suggestions are being collected across all districts through dialogues with educational institutions, village councils (panchayats), public representatives, and citizens.
