A heavy influx of tourists arriving to experience the snowfall in Chakrata has led to a traffic jam of approximately 10 kilometres on the Chakrata-Kalsi motor road. To control the traffic situation, Station House Officer (SHO) Chakrata, Chandrashekhar Nautiyal, was personally present at the scene with a police team and was engaged in ensuring the smooth flow of traffic.
Authorities Deploy JCBs And Snow Cutters For Road Clearance
Meanwhile, a JCB machine from the Public Works Department (PWD) Sahia and a snow cutter and JCB machines from the National Highways Department are also continuously working to clear snow from the road, so that the route can be safely opened and traffic restored as soon as possible.

The administration has appealed to tourists to follow traffic regulations, avoid causing unnecessary obstructions, and cooperate with the administration to ensure a safe and smooth journey for everyone.
