Taking the same theory a step further, Brazilian influencer Suellen Carey decided to marry herself last year. Needless to say, her sologamy- which is basically a marriage by a person to themself- was quick in turning into a beacon of ‘self-love’ as people poured all the love they could for the influencer’s decision. However, it seems like Carey’s road to self-love came to a sad end after she recently filed for divorce from herself. The influencer, soon after filing for divorce, began to rule headlines as netizens gave a mixed reaction. Some people dubbed it a failure of ‘self-love’, while a few never even considered her a married person to begin with.
As per reports, the influencer credited ‘loneliness’ as the reason behind her decision, where she is now in search of a partner.
