Viral Video: Confronting a thief either leads to swift justice or can be as deadly as it turned out for this particular man, who did something similar with an e-rickshaw driver. An incident came forward, where the said man accused the e-rickshaw driver of allegedly stealing gas cylinders. However, the way the driver reacted, left people horrified. The alleged thief ended up dragging the man on a busy road, a video of which was shared online, which went viral. The incident was recorded by another commuter who was driving behind the e-rickshaw.
The date and location of the incident could not be confirmed. As the video began to do rounds on social media, people reacted and expressed their anger towards the driver and against such incidents.
The video was shared on social media platform Reddit, by the handle ‘WesternLengthiness93’. The post was captioned, “E-Rickshaw Drags A man who accuses him of stealing gas cylinders.”

The video, soon after getting shared, went viral on social media. Most people were left angered and tagged authorities so that some action could be taken against the driver, the rest expressed their concerns for the man’s well-being. The post was shared a day ago and pulled countless upvotes.
Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Mujhe lga kisi film ki shooting ho rhi hai (I thought it was a film’s shooting),” a user said. “The Rikshaw driver should be punished.. by no means a person should be treated like this.. this is unacceptable..” added a second person.
“This kind of violent behavior is unacceptable and must be condemned. Authorities need to take swift action against the e-rickshaw driver responsible for dragging a man. Justice must be served to prevent such incidents from happening in the future,” added another.
“Seems like he actually took the cylinder and ran away,” added a fourth person. “India is not for beginners,” added a fifth person.
