Derby Car Accident: A serious accident occurred outside a Derby nightclub in England on Saturday when a car rammed into a group of pedestrians, leaving several critically injured. Authorities have confirmed that the driver has been arrested.
The accident happened in the Friar Gate area at around 9:30 pm (local time). As per reports, a black Suzuki Swift car was involved in the accident.
Several individuals sustained injuries in the crash and were given immediate medical attention from paramedics at the scene before being transported to nearby hospitals.

What We Know About The Accused
As per the police, a vehicle suspected to be involved was quickly traced shortly after the collision. The accused driver, believed to be a man in his 30s, has been arrested.
Officials said the investigation is still in its early stages and urged anyone who witnessed the vehicle in the area around the time of the incident to come forward and report details of the incident.
After the accident, Friar Gate was closed between Curzon Street/Cheapside and Ford Street, with authorities warning that the road is likely to remain blocked for an extended period.

As part of the investigation, officers secured and reviewed video footage from the venue and surrounding areas. According to Derbyshire Police, the footage showed Boota Singh running after members of the opposing group during the disorder.
