Billionaire Elon Musk has once again ignited a debate with a comment questioning why terms like "Christianphobia," "Sikhphobia," and "Hinduphobia" are rarely discussed. The Tesla CEO retweeted a post on X (formerly Twitter), which read, "Ever heard of Christianphobia? Sikhphobia? Hinduphobia? Me neither. Interesting isn’t it." In response, Musk wrote, "Good point. Why is that?"
This remark follows a series of statements made by Musk in recent days. The world’s richest man has been used X to revive discussions surrounding a long-running scandal over historical child sexual abuse in parts of England. Musk has drawn attention to the failure of local authorities to address widespread abuse affecting vulnerable girls.
Starmer’s Islamophobia Condemnation Sparks Debate
Elon Musk’s recent focus has shifted to political issues in the UK. A video of UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemning Islamophobia sparked further controversy. In the video, Starmer expressed concern about the rise in Islamophobia, highlighting how Muslim women and girls face disproportionate targeting and increased security for mosques.
However, some criticised Starmer for addressing Islamophobia while remaining silent on other issues. Later Musk shared a user’s tweet pointing out the silence on the Southport stabbing incident, where three children were allegedly stabbed by a Muslim individual. Musk responded with, “Prison for Starmer”.
Over the past few days, Musk has intensified his critique of Starmer, calling out his silence on Pakistani rape gangs and calling for fresh elections in Britain, further polarising opinions on social media.

What Are ‘Pakistani Rape Gangs’?
'Pakistani rape gangs' in the UK refer to grooming gangs predominantly consisting of men of Pakistani or South Asian descent who sexually exploited young girls. These gangs targeted vulnerable children, manipulated them, and coerced them into sexual acts, often involving trafficking and abuse over extended periods. High-profile cases, such as Rotherham, revealed significant exploitation, leading to calls for greater action against these criminal networks.
