Iran-Israel War: US President Donald Trump has issued a fresh threat to Iran online, accusing the country of killing “innocents across the world for 47 years.” He warned Iran, "Watch what happens to these deranged scumbags today."
In a post on his Truth Social platform, he wrote, “We are totally destroying the terrorist regime of Iran, militarily, economically, and otherwise, yet, if you read the Failing New York Times, you would incorrectly think that we are not winning."
Targeting Tehran, he continued, "Iran's Navy is gone, their Air Force is no longer, missiles, drones and everything else are being decimated, and their leaders have been wiped from the face of the earth. We have unparalleled firepower, unlimited ammunition, and plenty of time Watch what happens to these deranged scumbags today. "
He added, "They've been killing innocent people all over the world for 47 years, and now I, as the 47th President of the United States of America, am killing them. What a great honor it is to do so!".
Despite Trump’s repeated assertions that the US military has destroyed Iran’s Navy, Air Force, and missile capabilities, the question of when the war will end remains unanswered.

The conflict, which began with joint Israeli-US strikes on Iran in late February, has resulted in over 2,000 casualties, disrupted the lives of millions, and severely affected global energy and financial markets.
Meanwhile, in his first public comments on Thursday, Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, vowed to keep control of the vital Strait of Hormuz, a key global energy chokepoint. He also called on neighbouring countries to expel US military bases from their territories, warning that failure to comply would result in Iran targeting them.
“I assure everyone that we will not overlook avenging the blood of your martyrs,” said the hardline cleric, who succeeded his father after his death in Israel's initial strikes. His comments were broadcast by a television presenter, though it was unclear why he did not appear in person.
