Iran-Israel-US War: As the war between Iran and the joint forces of the US and Israel completed a week on Saturday, the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) shared a video showing a fighter pilot flying towards Tehran. The Israeli military posted the 33-second short video on the social media platforms with the caption, "POV: You're an IDF pilot OTW to Tehran". The video was also shared by the Times of Israel, with a translation of what the pilot was saying in the video. The short footage shows fighter jets flying above clouds in a formation towards Tehran.
IDF Shares Video
In the video shared by the Times of Israel, the pilot, whose face was blurred probably to ensure anonymity, was heard saying that the jets were flying over the skies of Tehran, the capital city of Iran. "We, Israeli Air Force pilots and navigators, are currently flying in formation over the skies of Tehran, en route to strike historic targets," the pilot said in the short video.
Apart from this, the pilot also addressed the Israeli citizens. "We continue to fight, as required around the clock, and feel your support all the time. We wish you, Israeli citizens, a safe and quiet Shabbat," the pilot added. The video was shared hours after Tehran witnessed massive bombings in the early hours of Saturday.
Israel Targets Key Locations
Earlier on Friday, Israeli fighter jets launched an attack on the underground military bunker in Tehran used by former Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. While sharing the footage on X (formerly Twitter), the Israeli Defence Force (IDF) stated that 50 fighter jets, guided by intelligence from Mossad, dismantled the facility.
The military tension in the Middle East region completed a week on Saturday, with no immediate signs of retreat. US President Donald Trump has demanded complete surrender from Iran; however, Tehran has vowed to continue the war.
