Israel-US-Iran War Live Updates: Israel Threatens To Take Territory If Lebanon Fails To Curb Hezbollah

Israel-US-Iran War: The war between Iran and the joint forces of Israel and the US, which began with the killing of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has entered its 13th day. Two foreign oil tankers were attacked at Iraq’s port of al-Faw on Wednesday as the Arab nations continued to intercept the Iranian missiles. In a major update, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian offered to end the deadly war, but with three conditions: recognition of Tehran's rights, payment of reparations, and firm international guarantees against future aggression.
However, US President Donald Trump has denied any talks until Iran offered an "unconditional surrender". He further stated that Tehran has nothing left to fight for, adding that the war will be over soon. The US president also vowed to protect oil tankers passing through the Strait of Hormuz, while Iran warned global oil prices could surge significantly.
Trump characterised the military campaign as "going great" and claimed that American forces have exceeded their original six-week objectives ahead of schedule. The International Energy Agency (IEA) has agreed to release 400 million barrels of oil from its members' strategic reserves, the largest such action in its history. This move is a direct attempt to counter soaring energy prices triggered by the ongoing US-Israeli war on Iran.
This historic intervention more than doubles the 182 million barrels released by IEA nations in 2022 following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated that the recent attacks have damaged Tehran, further stating that a regime change would save the country.
Iran, in its retaliation, continued strikes on the US bases in the Arab nations, leading to severe damage. The effect of war is not anymore limited to these few countries, as several countries have begun reporting a shortage of crude oil and LPG.
