A newly surfaced video has raised serious security concerns after allegedly showing Pakistan-based terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and its political front, the Pakistan Markazi Muslim League (PMML) openly recruiting and training operatives for a specialised “water force” aimed at carrying out sea-borne attacks similar to the 26/11 Mumbai terror strikes.
The video, shared on social media platform X by OSINTTV, shows PMML Deputy Secretary General Haris Dar inspecting recruits undergoing advanced maritime training. The footage captures terrorists being trained in scuba diving, professional swimming, high-speed boat handling, underwater operations, rescue techniques, and social media operations, pointing to preparations for coordinated sea-based assaults.
In the video, Haris Dar is seen conducting what appears to be a roll call of trainees, questioning them about skills ranging from driving and scuba diving to first aid, fire safety, martial arts, gym training, self-defence and online propaganda. Another Lashkar commander is also heard openly admitting that a dedicated “water force” is being prepared under the supervision of LeT and PMML.
135 Youths Trained Across Three Tehsils
The commander further claims that training programmes were conducted across three tehsils in Pakistan, during which 135 youths were trained in boat handling. He acknowledges that Indian news channels have already picked up the footage and are running different narratives about the development, an admission that security agencies say underscores the brazenness of the operation.
Security officials have described the video as clear evidence of open recruitment and terror preparation on Pakistani soil, reinforcing India’s long-standing allegations that Islamabad continues to provide space and support to terror groups targeting India, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir.
The revelations come amid earlier provocative statements by Lashkar-e-Taiba deputy chief Saifullah Khalid Kasuri, who had publicly threatened India with sea-borne attacks. In a speech delivered at Muridke, Kasuri claimed that while 2025 was the year Pakistan “ruled the skies” through drone operations, 2026 would be the year it would “rule the seas.”
“Before the year ends, Insha’Allah, Pakistan will become the Prince of the Seas,” Kasuri was quoted as saying, in remarks now seen as aligning with the training exposed in the video.
