Amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, speculation about the whereabouts and health of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has circulated widely online. However, a cafe that recently hosted him has shared photos and a message from his visit, providing fresh evidence that he is alive.
'The Sataf', a cafe in Jerusalem shared images of the visit on Instagram. "We were very happy to host the Prime Minister and his office in Sataf today! Know which bakery to visit," the cafe captioned Netanyahu’s photos.
"The main thing is that beautiful and quiet days will come! We send from here a big hug to the men and women of the reserves (and their families), the IDF and the Security and Rescue Forces," the cafe added.
The Coffee Shop Video
Netanyahu on Sunday released a video on X refuting conspiracies around his death, triggered on social media after his earlier video went viral. In the video, Netanyahu was seen ordering coffee at a cafe. Mentioning his death rumours, he jokes by saying, " I am dead... for coffee".

"You know what? I'm “dying” for my people. How they are behaving is fantastic," he could be heard adding after that.
Netanyahu also raised both his hands to show his fingers. He said, "Do you want to count my fingers? You can see them here… and here. See? Very nice."
Meanwhile Ambassador of Israel to India, Reuven Azar also clarified that Netanyahu was alive. "Prime Minister Netanyahu is alive. I saw him personally when I was in Israel more than once. "This video at the cafe is not AI-fabricated. There is a lot of disinformation," he said.
Last week on Thursday, he held a press conference, a video of which went viral on social media. Some of the users suggested that the video showed him with six fingers on one of his hands. The video sparked a wave of speculations and conspiracy theories, with some netizens claiming that Netanyahu had actually died and it was an AI-generated video. Meanwhile on Sunday, Iran vowed to "pursue and kill" PM Netanyahu, calling him a child-killing criminal.
Grok Calls Coffee Shop Video 'Deepfake'
Earlier, Grok responded to a user's query on the coffee shop video and stated that the video was AI-generated. "It's AI-generated. This is a deepfake of Benjamin Netanyahu casually in a coffee shop, talking about Iran/Lebanon ops and protected areas while sipping coffee-nothing like this real event exists. The original post explicitly calls it advanced unreleased AI," Grok had claimed.
