A massive billboard in Iran has caught the internet’s attention with a direct threat against US President Donald Trump, carrying the message, “We Will Kill Trump.” The display comes as tensions continue to rise amid the ongoing war between Iran, the United States and Israel, which has affected the region since February 28.
The billboard was put up near the busy Enghelab Square in Tehran. It featured an image of Trump behind bars with his head lowered. Another nearby display showed Trump, US Vice President JD Vance, US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with bloodied faces and torn clothes, alongside damaged American and Israeli flags.
The displays drew crowds to the square, where dozens of people waved red flags and held banners reading, “There Will Be Blood.” Protesters also demanded revenge for the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in US-Israeli strikes on February 28, which triggered the wider conflict in the Middle East.
This is not the first such display. Since the middle-east conflict began, several billboards have appeared across the city, mocking Trump, threatening retaliation and declaring victory over the United States.

The warning comes as efforts to bring Iran and the United States to the negotiations in recent days. Both sides are under pressure to reach a peace deal and prevent further attacks. The war has also affected countries around the world.
The Middle East conflict started following the killing of 86-year-old Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in joint military strikes by the US and Israel, after which Iran, in its retaliation, targeted Israeli and US assets in several Gulf countries and Israel, causing disruption in the waterway and affecting international energy markets and global economic stability since February 28.
