US-Israel-Iran War Live Updates: Mojtaba Khamenei Warns 'Criminal Murderers' Will Pay After Larijani's Death

Iran War 2026 Live Updates: The war between Iran and the joint forces of Israel and the US, which began with the killing of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on February 28, has entered its third week. In its retaliation, Iran has targeted the prominent cities of Israel and the US bases in the Middle East. US President Donald Trump on Monday asserted that Washington is in talks with Tehran; however, he added that Iran is not yet ready to reach a deal.

The crude prices across the world have surged through the roof as the ship movement through the Strait of Hormuz has been severely affected due to the military conflict. While the Trump administration has claimed that Iran has been weakened due to the attacks, the retaliation from Tehran has not slowed down.

Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have sought a regime change in Iran. However, Tehran appointed Mojtaba Khamenei, son of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as the new supreme leader. The US has also claimed that Mojtaba was severely injured and disfigured in the early attacks, but Iran has assured that its new leader is 'fine'.
