Iran launched a long-range missile for the first time since the start of Operation Roaring Lion, with a range of up to 4,000 km, the Israeli military reported.

The Indian government has decided to remove the temporary caps on domestic airfares that were imposed following the IndiGo flight disruptions in December last year. The decision will come into effect from March 23, according to an order issued by the civil aviation ministry. The move comes amid the rising fuel prices amid the the ongoing West Asia conflict.

"Airlines shall ensure that fares remain reasonable, transparent and commensurate with market conditions, and that passenger interests are not adversely impacted," PTI quoted the order.  

The ministry also warned that any excessive or unjustified surge in ticket prices, especially during peak demand or disruptions, would be taken seriously. It added that airfare trends are being closely monitored on a real-time basis.

US-Israeli airstrikes targeted a passenger terminal at Iran’s southern Bushehr port and an empty passenger vessel at Kharg Island, according to Iranian news agencies.

Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Saturday that an immediate cessation of what he described as US-Israeli aggression is needed to end the ongoing war and wider regional conflict.

The statement was shared by Iran’s embassy in India in an X post.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Navy fired missiles and drones at air bases in Al-Minhad, United Arab Emirates, and Ali Al-Salem, Kuwait. According to Iranian state media, the attacks targeted bases that had been used to launch strikes on Iranian islands.

An Iranian missile struck Jerusalem on Saturday, landing just a few hundred meters from the Al-Aqsa Mosque. "An Iranian missile struck Jerusalem during Eid al-Fitr, a few hundred meters from the holiest sites for Muslims, Christians, and Jews. This is the true face of the Mullahs' so-called 'religious' regime," the Israeli Foreign Ministry posted on X.

Air strikes in southwestern Iran have damaged a hospital and a tourist site, with at least one child reported dead. According to news agency AP, the Imam Ali Hospital in Ahvaz suffered heavy damage.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Saturday spoke to his Iranian counterpart Seyed Abbas AraghchI. Jaishankar conveyed his greetings for Navroz and Eid. The two leaders discussed the latest developments in the ongoing conflict.

Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior has advised citizens and residents to remain calm and move to the nearest safe location following the sounding of warning sirens, Al Jazeera reported.

Israel’s Defence Minister Israel Katz warned on Saturday that military strikes against Iran are expected to intensify in the coming week, indicating a potential escalation in the ongoing conflict. According to the Times of Israel, he made the remarks during a meeting with senior officers.

Iranian missiles hit southern areas of Tel Aviv on Saturday, causing damage to buildings, including a kindergarten. According to Al Jazeera report, impacts were also reported in Rishon LeZion, with at least one missile believed to have carried a cluster warhead.

Leaders from 20 countries, including the UAE, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Japan, Canada, and Australia, have jointly condemned Iran’s recent attacks on commercial vessels, civilian infrastructure, and the effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz. 

The Centre has informed all State and UT Chief Secretaries that, from March 23, another 20 per cent fuel allocation will be provided, taking the total to 50 per cent of pre-crisis levels.

The UK has condemned what it called "Iran's reckless attacks" after Iranian forces fired missiles toward the UK-US air base on Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. British officials said the strike was unsuccessful, and it is unclear how close the missiles came to the base, which is about 2,500 miles (4,000 kilometers) from Iran.

The UK Ministry of Defence warned that Iran’s actions, including threatening the Strait of Hormuz, pose a threat to British interests and allies in the region.

The International Atomic Energy Agency said it has been informed by Iranian authorities that the Natanz Nuclear Facility was attacked, but reported that there has been no increase in off‑site radiation levels following the incident.

The Iranian Army said it targeted fuel tanks and refuelling aircraft at Ben Gurion Airport using drones, according to Iranian state media. 

On the occasion of Nowruz and Eid al-Fitr, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Saturday said that the country does not seek conflict with Islamic nations. He also offered condolences on the killing of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in the wake of the US-Israeli strikes on Iran.

Denouncing the need for foreign presence in the region, he urged the formation of an 'Islamic Assembly of the Middle East' and said that the countries should "not fall into the traps set by our enemies".

Two other officials confirm that there is currently a deployment of all the above, but do not provide specifics on where they will deploy. All three were granted anonymity due to the sensitive nature of military operations.

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei on Friday said Iran had achieved “resounding triumphs” in what he described as a “third imposed war,” while praising the resilience of the Iranian people and the country’s armed forces, according to Press TV.

In a message marking the Persian New Year and extending Eid al-Fitr greetings to Muslims worldwide, Khamenei said “enemies” had attempted to instil fear and despair among Iranians but had failed.

"The enemy attacked Iran with illusion to instil fear and despair in the nation, but to no avail. Our noble people endured three confrontations of a military and security nature over the past year," Reuters quoted Khamenei.

The Iranian Leader further asserted that national unity would grow stronger in the face of external pressure. "Cohesion amongst people will become stronger, and enemies will be disgraced," he said.

Kyiv, Ukraine, has deployed 228 specialists to assist Middle East countries in strengthening their drone defence capabilities and is working with regional leaders to finalise “serious agreements,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Friday.

In addition, he said that representatives from Ukraine and the US would keep meeting to go over the documents necessary for a partnership between Kyiv and Washington. He said that a large drone defence cooperation agreement is expected to be discussed this weekend when he meets with US leaders in Washington.

The owner of an Israeli oil refinery hit in an Iranian missile strike said on ‌Friday that essential infrastructure was damaged in Thursday's attack but that most production facilities were operating and the rest were being restarted.

Oil Refineries Ltd (ORL.TA), said in a statement that there had been "localised ⁠hits" at its complex in Haifa, northern Israel, striking electrical infrastructure supplying a service facility and an open area adjacent to an administrative building. (Reuters)

Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, offered condolences on the killing of Iranian Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib to President Masoud Pezeshkian, Iranian state media Press TV reported on Friday.

Iran's Tasnim News further quoted a statement from Khamenei to the President where he said, "Undoubtedly, their absence must be compensated by the redoubled efforts of other officials and employees of that sensitive ministry, and security must be wrested from internal and external enemies and bestowed upon the general public of our compatriots."

Iran’s foreign minister Abbas Araghchi said that any end to the ongoing war with the US and Israel must include guarantees to prevent future attacks, according to Iranian state media. He made the remarks in a phone call with UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper. “The path to normalizing conditions is the cessation of these attacks. The cessation of war must be accompanied by guarantees to prevent the recurrence of such aggressions,” Araghchi said.

Sri Lanka denied the US request to station two warplanes at a civilian airport in the south, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake said on Friday. The request was reportedly made in early March, and the president's confirmation comes amid reports by AFP.

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has issued a stark warning to both the United States and Israel, urging an immediate end to hostilities in the Middle East that he says are spiralling out of control and causing immense civilian suffering.

In a post on X, Guterres wrote, "I have two clear messages: First, to the United States & Israel: It's high time to end this war that is risking to get out of control, causing immense suffering on civilians, with dramatic effects on the global economy & potentially tragic consequences, especially for the least developed countries.

Heavy explosions were reported in Dubai early Friday as air defence systems intercepted incoming missiles over the city. According to the Associated Press, sirens sounded before the incident, and authorities said air defences were activated to respond to an Iranian missile attack.
