Israel-US-Iran War LIVE Updates: Iranian Missile Hits Jerusalem Near Al-Aqsa Mosque, IRGC Strike Air Bases In UAE, Kuwait

US-Israel-Iran War Live Updates: As Washington considers reducing its military operations in the region, US President Donald Trump stated on Friday that the US is "getting very close" to achieving its goals in Iran.
In a Truth Social post, Trump stated, "We are getting very close to meeting our objectives as we consider winding down our great Military efforts in the Middle East with respect to the Terrorist Regime of Iran."
This comes after Israel targeted parts of the South Pars gas field on Thursday, which Iran shares with Qatar. Reports suggest that the Pentagon launched air operations to help reopen the Strait of Hormuz, a key global oil route. Meanwhile, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has also announced a new wave of attacks, hitting areas including Tel Aviv and US bases in the region.
Iranian state media outlet Press TV reported on Friday that Iran had launched the 66th wave of what it calls Operation True Promise 4, involving five “super-heavy” missiles equipped with multiple warheads. According to IRGC, this phase of the operation formed part of a broader retaliatory campaign. The IRGC claimed the strikes targeted sites in Israel including areas around Tel Aviv as well as US military positions in the wider region.
Separate reports also mentioned heightened alerts and possible drone and missile activity across parts of West Asia and the Gulf region.
