BMC Elections 2026: Polling for 29 municipal corporations across Maharashtra, including the high-profile Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), will take place in a single phase on January 15, 2026. The results will be declared on the following day, January 16.

With more than one crore voters likely to participate, authorities are urging residents to check their names on the final electoral roll in advance, as only those listed on the final voter list will be allowed to cast their ballots.

BMC Elections 2026: How To Check Your Name In Voter List?

Voters are encouraged to check their names in the final voter list through the official portals:

Step 1: Maharashtra SEC Voter List Portal: Visit mahasecvoterlist.in and search for your name by entering your full name or your EPIC number.

Step 2: National Voters Service Portal: Visit voters.eci.gov.in and click on the "Search in Electoral Roll" option. Enter your EPIC number to check your name on the voter list.

Step 3: Mobile App: Download the app from eci.gov.in/voter-helpline-app/ and check your details on-the-go.

What Details Voters Need To Check On Voter List?

Once you have found your name on the voter list, look for other important details such as voter serial number, ward number, and specific polling station location. Take a screenshot of the details or take a printout of the voter slip to speed up the process at the polling booth.

Once your name is confirmed on the final election roll, voters are advised to carry valid photo identity proof, such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, or passport, to the polling booth to cast their ballots on January 15.
