Delhi Blast: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday stated that the Delhi blast, which killed 15 and left others injured, was executed by Pakistan. The chief minister emphasised that the neighbouring country was involved in these attacks as it could not defeat India in a "straightforward war". While speaking at an event at the Gateway of India, Fadnavis also lauded the security forces for busting the "white collar" terror module. He also stated that the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack was an attack on the sovereignty of India, adding that India is capable of defending its land.

“Pakistan knows it cannot defeat India in a straightforward war, and hence the terrorist attack in Pahalgam and the recent blast in Delhi took place,” Fadnavis stated. He further stated that while the attackers were planning to execute bomb blasts in several countries, the agencies conducted several operations and busted the terror module.

"I am glad that today we have a changed India. India first sensed these things and conducted operations... their intentions were to detonate bombs in every corner of India, and many cities of our country, including Mumbai, were their targets. But when our Indian agencies sensed this and directly attacked them, they demonstrated their presence by carrying out an explosion in Delhi," the chief minister stated.

Fadnavis further stated that the world witnessed India's might through Operation Sindoor, adding that the terror and peace talks could not go together. "PM (Narendra) Modi has said terror and talks can not go together, and gave freedom to the armed forces to take action. Through Operation Sindoor, the world saw India's might. India is a strong country, and the war (against terror) is not over," Fadnavis added.
