Maharashtra News: Two separate road accidents in Maharashtra have resulted in the deaths of nine people. In Dhule district, five individuals, including three women, lost their lives in a collision between a pickup truck and a car near Dasvel Phata in Shindkheda taluka on Sunday. Local residents rushed the injured to the hospital and alerted the police.

In another incident in Sambhaji Nagar, a drunk driver crashed into another vehicle on Saturday, leading to the deaths of four people and leaving two others seriously injured. Authorities are investigating both accidents as community members mourn the tragic losses.

In separate news, An IndiGo flight (6E 1303) from Mumbai to Doha, Qatar, faced a significant delay in the early hours of Sunday, September 15, due to technical issues, causing considerable unrest among passengers. Scheduled to depart from Mumbai at 3:55 AM, the flight encountered technical snags that left passengers waiting inside the aircraft for nearly five hours. Eventually, the passengers were asked to deboard and around 250 to 300 people were stranded at the airport. They were later moved to the immigration waiting area at Mumbai airport.

In an official statement, an IndiGo spokesperson confirmed the delay, citing technical reasons and apologised for the inconvenience caused. The spokesperson explained that the aircraft attempted to depart several times but was ultimately grounded due to various procedural delays. IndiGo assured passengers that they were being provided with hotel accommodations and rebooked for their onward journeys.
