In a tragic incident in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar area, a brave 28-year-old man lost his life after rescuing an eight-year-old girl who had fallen into an open drain, police reported.

The incident occurred on Sunday when the young girl accidentally dropped her ball into the drain and fell inside while trying to retrieve it. Due to the depth of the drain, she was unable to climb out on her own, according to Pantnagar Police Station officials, as reported by NDTV.
