Maharashtra News: A student in class 10th was forced to sit on the floor during the examination because his fee was not paid. On the night of October 3, Faiz Khan found his son crying upon returning home from work. When asked about the reason behind, Faiz’s son Fahad instead questioned his father about the fee payment at school.

Fahad asked, ‘Daddy, fee kab Pay karoge’ (when will you pay my fee, father).

The question was rooted in the humiliation he faced at the school during the day when he was made to sit on the floor to appear in the examination. The incident reportedly occurred in Salahuddin Ayyubi Memorial Urdu High School in Maharashtra's Bhiwandi.

The next day, Faiz appeared in the school and enquired about his son. When informed that Fahad’s class was on the 3rd floor, Faiz wanted to see and meet his son, but he was stopped. After arguments and several attempts, Faiz managed to reach Fahad’s classroom, where he found his son sitting on a newspaper on the floor. When confronted, Faiz was asked to talk to the principal.

Faiz took his son and went to the police station to file a complaint, where the police filed a complaint against the principal and teachers involved and sent the kid back to school so that he could he could finish writing his exam.

"Fahad's school fee is Rs 2,500, of which I have paid Rs 1,200. The school has already withheld his class 9 results over the outstanding Rs 1,300," claims Faiz.
