Maharashtra Weather: Maharashtra will see heavy rain and thunderstorms from December 26 to 28 in regions such as Khandesh, Marathwada, and Vidarbha. An active western disturbance will interact with easterly winds over Central India. This shall draw high moisture from the Arabian Sea, resulting in widespread rainfall. On December 27, hailstorms are likely to pelt Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada. Farmers in the region are advised to stay informed about weather forecasts.
Following the wet spell, minimum temperature across Maharashtra is expected to rise by 2-4°C, providing relief from the ongoing cold wave conditions.
Maharashtra WeatherAdvisory For Farmers

Pollution Control Measures
-Mechanical sweepers will be deployed for road cleaning.
