This marks a major step toward completing the full Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, which aims to link the two cities with faster and more efficient travel.

While the sections connecting Delhi and Mumbai are already in use, the direct route between Kota and Delhi is expected to open within two months, further enhancing the expressway's utility.

According to a media report, a National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) official explained the challenges of constructing such a massive project.

"Construction of the transport corridor was completed on most stretches. However, until the interchanges are constructed, these sections cannot be opened for traffic," the official said. This highlights the complexity of building infrastructure that involves multiple phases and careful coordination to ensure smooth operations.

This development is part of a larger plan to improve India's national transportation network, reduce congestion, and promote economic growth. By making travel faster and easier, the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is set to play a significant role in connecting regions and boosting trade and tourism.
