The Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory asking commuters to avoid the affected stretch, as one lane of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway from Jaitpur Pushta Road towards Maharani Bagh DND has once again been closed until further orders.

According to the traffic police, a stretch of the NHAI highway on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway at Madanpur Khadar has been temporarily closed. As a result, vehicular movement on the highway stretch from Jaitpur towards Sarai Kale Khan and Ashram will remain suspended until further orders.

Commuters travelling towards Ashram and Sarai Kale Khan have been advised to avoid the affected stretch. They have been asked to use the service road via Kalindi Kunj and Mathura Road to reach their destinations.

The traffic police has appealed to motorists to plan their journeys keeping the affected route in mind. Commuters have also been advised to follow traffic instructions and signboards placed along the road.

Traffic personnel have been deployed in the affected area to ensure the smooth movement of vehicles and assist commuters in taking alternative routes.
