Maharashtra Crime: In a Bollywood film-style robbery, two thieves on a bike were able to flee with several bags they stole from a moving bus on a Maharashtra Highway. The shocking heist was recorded on camera, and the footage is now going viral.
The incident occurred in Maharashtra's Beed district, where a gang of bike-borne thieves looted passenger bags from a moving bus on the Solapur-Dhule highway. The footage showed one of the thieves climbed onto the moving bus, opened the rear bag compartment of the bus, and threw bags on the road for his partners to collect them.
However, the video is not news, as the incident took place nearly two months ago in October 2025. The suspects followed a private bus carrying Baratis, headed towards a wedding venue.
No this is not a bollywood movie shooting, it is actual footage of Robbery from a Volvo Bus which was having Baratis.

While the bus was moving, the pillion rider stood on the biker’s shoulders, grabbed the rear ladder, and climbed up. He then opened the rooftop luggage box, threw down bags, and his partners, following the bus, quickly picked them up and escaped.
Beed Police has launched a crackdown after the daring highway robberies. District Superintendent of Police Navneet Kanwat has ordered round-the-clock intensified patrolling and heightened surveillance along the national highway to hunt down the gang and prevent further incidents.
There has been a rise in the incidents of theft and robbery from halted or slow-moving travel buses in recent weeks, said police.
