The MHADA Pune Board has opened a fresh opportunity for homebuyers by offering unsold flats from its previous housing schemes on a first-come, first-served basis. These flats were earlier available through a lottery system under the 15per cent social housing scheme and the 20 per cent inclusive housing scheme, but several units remained unsold due to low demand.

To make the process simpler and help more people access affordable housing, MHADA is now allowing direct online bookings without the need for a lottery draw.

While MHADA hasn’t revealed the total number of flats available, buyers will need to:

- Pay a deposit to reserve their chosen flat

- Pay an administrative fee within 48 hours of selection

- Receive online confirmation after successful payment

This initiative is designed to give a second chance to buyers who may have missed out during the lottery. It also aims to improve housing availability in Pune by offering a more straightforward and transparent process.
