Mumbai Man Smashes Uncle’s Head On Hospital Stairs, Lifts Him And Kills Him; Arrested

A 26-year-old man has been detained for allegedly murdering his maternal uncle near Mumbai on Thursday.

The man, Ganesh Ramesh Pujari, and his uncle, Mariappa Raju Nair, both residents of Goregaon, Mumbai, had gone to a hospital in Thane for the delivery of Pujari's wife.

An argument escalated between them at the hospital.

According to the police, Pujari allegedly slammed his 40-year-old uncle's head onto the hospital steps before lifting him and throwing him onto the stairs, leading to his death.

A CCTV video has emerged showing Pujari dragging Nair by the collar and pulling him away.

After being alerted,  the police arrested Pujari from the spot.
