Mumbai Weather: Mumbai experienced an unusually cold start to the day on Wednesday, November 19, with the minimum temperature dropping to 16.2 degrees Celsius. This is the lowest November temperature the city has seen in at least ten years. The Santacruz station reported the sharp dip, nearly five degrees below the normal level for this time of year.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) confirmed that the reading of 16.2 degrees Celsius surpassed the previous low recorded earlier this week. Just a day before, the minimum temperature in the city had touched 17.4 degrees Celsius. In contrast, the Colaba observatory, located closer to the coastline, noted a milder 21.6 degrees Celsius, reflecting the coastal influence.

Since then, several parts of Maharashtra have continued to witness a decline in night temperatures, indicating an early onset of winter conditions.
