Mumbai Weather Update: Mumbai is currently experiencing light rain with generally cloudy skies, as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday stated that the monsoon has officially withdrawn from the city. In 2025, the monsoon arrived early on May 26 and concluded early as well on October 10, days ahead of the usual onset.

Usually, the monsoon withdraws from Mumbai between October 10 and 15, but its timing has been quite unpredictable in recent years. For instance, the monsoon season ended on September 30 in 2002 and as late as October 28 in 2020. Over the past three years, the monsoon has ended around mid to late October, Hindustan Times reported.
