Mumbai Weather Today: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rain in Mumbai on Tuesday. The weather body has issued an orange alert in this regard. The financial capital of India saw intense downpour early in the morning. The temperature on Tuesday is likely to hover between 25 degrees Celsius and 28 degrees Celsius. Rain activity will continue in the city till July 27.

Mumbai Weather Today: Operations At Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport Impacted

Operations at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport were impacted on Monday following continuous downpour. The rain caused delays to almost 30 domestic and international flights.

So far, no advisory has been issued on Tuesday regarding Mumbai Airport’s operations. However, passengers to and from the airport are advised to keep a track of their flight status. Those travelling to the airport should reach in advance to avoid delays due to traffic congestion.

Mumbai Weather Today: Local Trains See Minor Delays

Mumbai local trains saw minor delays of 10-20 minutes on Tuesday morning. The affected areas included - Kurla, Sion, Thane and Dadar. Railway officials have confirmed that there are no cancellations yet, but are on standby for further rainfall-related disruptions, TimesNow reported.

According to the Mumbai Traffic Police, congestion can be witnessed around:

-Milan Subway, Santacruz

-Hindmata Junction, Dadar

-King’s Circle, Matunga

-SV Road, Khar and Bandra stretches

-LBS Road in Kurla and Bhandup

-Eastern Express Highway near Ghatkopar
