Vande Bharat Express Update: In good news for the residents of Pune, the city is set to get an expanded network of Vande Bharat Express as the Indian Railways has cleared four new routes to be linked with the semi-high-speed trains.

This will take the total number of Vande Bharat Express running from Pune to six. The cleared routes are from Pune to Shegaon, Vadodara, Secunderabad, and Belagavi.

The services of Vande Bharat on these routes will provide a seamless, comfortable, and faster travel experience to passengers from four states - Gujarata, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Telangana. From pilgrims to business persons and IT professionals to tourists, the trains will be of great service to the people.

Pune to Shegaon Vande Bharat

Talking individually about the routes, the Pune to Shegaon Vande Bharat will benefit the pilgrims along with other passengers. The train is likely to pass via Daund, Ahmednagar, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, and Jalna.

Pune-Belgavi Vande Bharat Express

Similarly, Pune-Belgavi Vande Bharat Express will provide seamless connectivity to Karnataka's proposed second capital, which is rapidly developing. The train will support industrial and business growth. It is expected to make stoppages at Satara, Sangli, and Miraj.

Pune-Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express

On the other hand, Pune-Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express will connect the two important IT and academic centres of Maharashtra and Telangana. Vande Bharat will be the fastest train on this route. Its stoppages may include Daund, Solapur, and Kalaburagi.

Pune-Vadodara Vande Bharat 

Another route with huge business, corporate and trade travellers, Vande Bharat with its fast speed will slash the travel time between the two cities to around 6 to 7 hours. The train is expected to make stoppages at Daund, Ahmednagar, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, and Jalna.

The fare of the Vande Bharat Express trains on all these routes are likely to be in line with the semi-high-spped trains between rs 1,500 to Rs 2,000.
