Thane Traffic Alert: In a bid to improve road infrastructure, the Valdhuni Flyover, which connects Kalyan East and West in Thane district, will undergo resurfacing work until January 10, 2026. It is being carried out by the Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation. However, the project will result in temporary traffic restrictions and diversions that are expected to affect daily commuters.

The flyover, a crucial link between Kalyan East and West, has been the subject of ongoing maintenance efforts to enhance the safety and efficiency of the route. Heavy vehicles, in particular, will be redirected to alternative routes to ease pressure on the Shahad Flyover, which is currently experiencing high traffic volumes due to the diversions.

To ease congestion and ensure smooth vehicular movement, the Traffic Police have implemented a series of traffic restrictions and diversions.
