Thackeray Worli Dome Rally: After almost two decades, the estranged Thackeray cousins Uddhav and Raj came together at a rally in Mumbai's Worli. Both the leaders shared the stage and hugged each other while thousands stood in the audience.
The unified rally came in response to the now-scrapped two GRs of the Maharashtra government introducing Hindi as the third language in the state.

He added that the Maharashtra government rolled back its decision on three language formula because of the unity shown by the Marathi people. Raj said, "I am sharing the stage with Uddhav after almost 20 years. He added that Balasaheb Thackeray studied in an English school, worked in an English newspaper but never compromised on the status of Marathi.
Hitting out at the government, the MNS chief added that the decision on three-language formula was precursor to plan of separating Mumbai from Maharashtra. Speaking about the slapgate row, the MNS chief said "Be it Gujarati or anyone else here, must know Marathi, but there is no need to beat people for that if they don’t speak Marathi. But if someone shows useless drama, you must hit below their eardrums. I tell you one more thing: if you beat someone, don’t make a video of the incident. Let the person beaten up tell that he has been beaten up, you don’t need to tell everyone that you have beaten someone."
Uddhav Thackeray also addressed the event and said, "Since we announced about this program, everyone was eagerly waiting for our speech today, but in my view, we both coming together, and this stage was more important than our speeches. Raj Thackeray has already given a very outstanding speech, and I think there is no need for me to speak now."
