Maharashtra Politics: Ahead of the local body elections in Maharashtra, relations between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena are strained. Both parties in the ruling Mahayuti alliance are inducting each other's leaders into their own parties, leading to tensions.

Meanwhile, Dada Bhuse, a Shiv Sena minister in the state government, recently said that Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has been a CM who lives in the hearts of the people. People will soon see him leading the state again.

Shinde Had Rebelled In 2022

Eknath Shinde rebelled in 2022, which led to the collapse of Uddhav Thackeray's Maha Vikas Aghadi government and a split within the Shiv Sena. Eknath Shinde served as Chief Minister of Maharashtra from 2022 to 2024.

After the Mahayuti's victory in the 2024 assembly elections, Devendra Fadnavis replaced Shinde. Eknath Shinde was appointed Deputy Chief Minister in the Mahayuti government in the state.
