Bengaluru Weather: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rain for 5 southern interior Karnataka districts, including Bengaluru on November 29. The weather body has also issued a yellow alert in these areas. The showers will occur as a result of a depression in the air pressure off the Sri Lankan coast. Apart from this, IMD has stated that the daytime temperatures will fall over the next 5 days. South Interior Karnataka districts are expected to receive rain till November 30.

Coastal Karnataka

November 28: Dry weather likely to prevail over all districts of Coastal Karnataka.

November 29: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at one or two places over Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts. Dry weather is likely to prevail over Uttara Kannada district.

November 30: Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at one or two places over Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada districts.

North Interior Karnataka

November 28: Dry weather likely to prevail over all districts of North Interior Karnataka.

November 29: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at one or two places over Raichur, Yadgir and Koppal districts. Dry weather is likely to prevail over Bagalkot, Belagavi, Bidar, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Kalburgi and Vijayapura districts.

November 30: Light to moderate rain/thundershowers likely to occur at one or two places over Raichur, Yadgir, Koppal and Kalburgi districts. Dry weather is likely to prevail over Bagalkot, Belagavi, Bidar, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri and Vijayapura districts.

South Interior Karnataka

November 28: Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places over Kolar and Chamarajanagara districts. Dry weather likely to prevail over Ballari, Bengaluru (Rural), Bengaluru (Urban), Chikkaballapura, Chikkamagaluru, Chitradurga, Davanagere, Hassan, Kodagu, Mandya, Mysuru, Ramanagara, Shivamogga, Tumakuru and Vijayanagara districts.

November 29: Heavy rain/thundershower is likely to occur at one or two places over Chikkaballapura, Kolar, Bengaluru (Rural), Bengaluru (Urban), Chamarajanagara and Ramanagara districts.

November 30: Light to moderate rain/thundershowers likely to occur at a few places over Ballari, Bengaluru (Rural), Bengaluru (Urban), Chamarajanagara, Chikkaballapura, Chikkamagaluru, Chitradurga, Davanagere, Hassan, Kodagu, Kolar, Mandya, Mysuru, Ramanagara, Shivamogga, Tumakuru and Vijayanagara districts.
