1. Jakhoo Temple - Perched 8,000 feet above sea level in Shimla, Jakhoo Temple is home to a massive Hanuman Temple. One significant landmark in this area is the statue of Lord Hanuman. Legend has it that while on a trip to gather Sanjeevni herb to heal the ailing Lord Lakshmana, Lord Hanuman paused here for a time. Another tale surrounding this location states that Lord Hanuman encountered Yaaku, a guru, who gave him advice regarding the Sanjeevni herb. According to folklore, Saage Yaaku is credited with ordering the construction of the Jakhoo Temple.
2. Naina Devi Temple - The temple of Naina Devi Ji is among the most well-known in the vicinity of Bilaspur. Despite being 70 kilometres from Bilaspur, a lot of people regularly travel to the temple to offer prayers. It is said that Naina Devi is an incarnation of the powerful goddess Durga. The shrine of Naina Devi Ji was constructed precisely where it is stated that Lord Vishnu severed Maa Durga (Sati) into fifty parts in order to appease Lord Shiva. It is believed that Naina Devi Ji Temple was constructed in the eighth century by Raja Bir Chand.
3. Baba Balaknath Temple - One of the most well-known temples in Himachal Pradesh is the Baba Balaknath Temple. It is a rock-carved cave temple. Devotees swarm the temple during the Holi festival when a fair is held there.
4. Jwala Devi Temple - The Jwala Devi Temple in the Kangra district is one of India's 51 Shaktipeethas. Devi Sati's tongue is said to have dropped at the location of the temple, which is located in the Kangra district's Jwalamukhi village. Legend has it that a shepherd rushed to the king after spotting a fierce fire atop a hill. When the king arrived, he beheld the Goddess Jwala Devi there. He subsequently decided to construct a temple there. It is said that wishes come true for those who visit the Jwala Devi Temple. Here, a coconut offering is required.
5. Bhootnath Temple - The Bhootnath Temple, which is devoted to Lord Shiva, is arguably the most well-known temple in Mandi.
