Performing daily puja is a beloved custom within Hindu households, welcoming divine energy and peace into the everyday ritual of life. In order to engage the divine on a deeper level and attain their blessings for all forms of prosperity, some of these traditions need to be observed with genuineity. Performing these simple yet profound rituals not only heightens spiritual awareness but cultivates a healing, harmonious energy within the home. Here are seven daily rituals you should make a part of your puja to win the Lord’s favour.

Adopt THESE 7 Rituals While Performing Daily Puja To Please God

1. Burn Camphor: Use camphor every morning and evening along with prayer or aarti to purify the environment. It cures bad energy and Vastu defects. Setting camphor tablets in spots such as the stairs or restroom brings back corrective directional mistakes. Its additional benefit is that burning some camphor before going to bed will bring peace and improve positivity all over the house.

2. Recite Shri Hanuman Chalisa: Reciting the Hanuman Chalisa every day at dusk as part of prayer rituals is believed to invite protection. This powerful and sacred hymn equips the psyche, shields one’s self against invisible evil, and provides courage. It is believed that reciting it with complete devotion and sincerity will bless you with Lord Hanuman’s protection, keeping you safe from sudden misfortunes and accidents while forming a spiritual defence around your household and family.

3. Use Incense Made Of Jaggery And Ghee: Incense produced from grinding raw sugar (jaggery) and ghee in the form of puja has particularly strong powers. In doing so, this ritual literally cleanses the atmosphere and invites in divine energy. Setting this blend on top of a flaming coal foundation adds to the spiritual ambience while attracting prosperity and erasing bad energies from your space.

4. Include Incense In Puja: If you are unable to light incense every day, then make sure that you light it on Trayodashi, Chaturdashi, Amavasya and Purnima. Purchase our Natural Incense to make your offerings. Offer morning incense to deities and evening incense to ancestors, particularly during Shraddha Paksha.

5. Use Traditional Puja Items In Puja: Include sacred items such as sandalwood, kumkum, camphor, ghee, flowers and fruits during your daily puja. These offerings have profound spiritual significance in Hindu puja rituals or prayer ceremonies. Feeding fire before meals, called Vaishvadev Yajna, cleanses karma and unites your family with spiritual sustenance and blessings from fire as divine nourishment.

6. Visit Temples Weekly: In Hinduism, each weekday was named after a god. Paying temple visits in an order - Lord Shiva on Monday, Lord Hanuman on Tuesday, Maa Durga on Wednesday, etc. Frequent temple visits develop devotion, attract inner peace and attune your vibration to God’s grace.

7. Perform Cleansing Ritual With Coconut: The coconut cleansing remedy involves taking a new coconut and circling it clockwise around the afflicted person’s body 21 times. Then offer it in sacrifice on a sacred ghat or temple fire. This free-form and highly effective ritual, most potent on Tuesdays and Saturdays, dispels disease and calamity. Doing that for five consecutive Saturdays will ease the burden of unexpected family crises.
